WHAT’S COMING FOR KTSE IN 2026?
This January marked 12 years of Knot Too Shabby Events - a milestone we’re honestly still pinching ourselves over! In that time, we’ve had the joy of planning nearly 300 weddings and celebrating with thousands of couples and their loved ones.
In 2026, we’re honored to be working with 20 incredible couples, crafting weddings across North Carolina, from Southport to Charlotte and everywhere in between. Our team has grown and now includes three amazing lead planners, one event assistant lead, four wedding day assistants, and our brand-new intern, Ally.
We continue to serve with intention - one planner, one wedding per weekend - because quality and personalized attention will always come first. Thank you for being part of our journey. We truly wouldn’t be here without you.

Wedding Tip #17 - Be Intentional With Your Guest List
One of the easiest ways to lower wedding costs is by trimming your guest count. Before you send invites or save-the-dates, take a moment to reflect:
Have you talked to this person in the last year? Do you truly see them in your life 10 years from now?
If not, it might be okay to let that name go. Every guest adds up, and you deserve to share your day with people who mean the most to you.
Of course, immediate family is always a priority, and if you happen to have an unlimited budget and an open-ended venue… invite them all! And hey - we’d love to help with that blowout. 😉
Until next time,

Tying the details together, one knot at a time
